This split release features two Dundee-based experimental musicians. These tracks were recorded over lockdown 2020-21 using guitars, fiddles and other sounds!

[BOX] aka Neil McIntee - five string classical guitar, online TV, Argeïphontes Lyre, digital audio editing programs including audacity.

“These pieces originate from the first track, which is recorded as heard, with no alteration. The subsequent tracks are alterations/modifications of the first track using Argeïphontes Lyre and various digital audio modifications. This was a project started in the first lockdown in 2020 to experiment and keep myself occupied along with or four other projects.”

Infinity Of 6 - prepared bass guitar and fiddle, running water and soap, Felt Tip Sound Studio

“These tracks were recorded while restringing my bass, ready to go into the studio and record the last VFLambda single ‘Coffee/Wolves’. My bass and my electric fiddle were plugged into my trusty Boss ME-50, and I conjured this magic by unwinding and removing the bass strings. Then I washed my hands, which I would have done even if it wasn't a pandemic. Then I put new strings on my bass, fastening them in the stylish way you hear here.”
